Being a 17 year old girl who hasn't had a mum from the age of 12 isn't easy. No one to teach you about make-up, talk to you about boys and everything a mother and daughter do.
There are somethings in life you just can't talk to your dad, friends and other family members about. Like how you have fallen so badly for one of your best guy friends. For things like that you need a mum to hug you and tell you it will all work out and whatever happens, happens for a reason. A bond between a mother and her child is stronger than anything. Going through the most confusing time of my life I need a mum and so badly wish she was here. I know she would say exactly what everyone else says to me but when a mum says it it's different. The way she says it makes it so much easier to understand.
I'm allways telling people to tell the ones they love how they feel, yet I do not take my own advice. It is somehow different when you are saying it to other people but when they say it to you, you just think "I can't".The truth is I can, I'm just not sure I wan't to.
People think its easy being 17 but trust me...it isn't. Being a teenager is far more complicated than adults seem to remember. If you don't believe me, stay tuned and you will get an insight to a 17 year olds mind.
